Marnie~What an amazing blog you have–I love your sense of humor and playfulness! It’s so exciting to know another artist is grappling with the same things that I struggle with–from Muse block to how to pay attention to more healthy living to just plain “how the heck do I stay motivated to create?” Thanks Marnie for your inspiration–you are my Muse! Love Freckle Face
I too love your blog Marnie. Your creativity with jewelry and a word is so refreshing. I’d love to help you figure out what to do with the 5 items, however, there is one item that puzzles me. Even more significant is that I am “creativity challenged”. I don’t really worry about it because I know that I have other gifts!!

I do Love Marnie is My Muse, and would love to attempt to figure out what to do, but I only recognize a Bird, a Clothespin, a Jack, and maybe a marble, Help:)
Hi Berta, Thanks for your comment. You are correct about the bird, clothespin, jack and marble. The other items are pencil lead for mechanical pencils (in the container it came in) and a toothpick with a paper bead rolled on to it. Also just for the record you can use the items in any way you choose, take them apart, enlarge or reduce, simply as inspiration, incorporate them into a piece…well you get the idea. And finally you don’t have to use all 6 items.
Hi Marnie! I would make a sculpture of a bird on a fallen tree branch with the items.
“I’ll tell you what you can do with your #$^%*& * objects!” Just kidding! What a challenge! I think I’d wrap the lead case and the stick with the bead on it with green felt that I wired together to make a little branch, I’d paint the jack red like a star blossom and add three green paper leaves, I’d make a little nest out of several shades of brown and gold yarn, put the marbe in, glue the little bird to the edge of it with a little voice balloon coming out of it’s beak that said “OMG!” Love your blog and your creativity!
